Luceda Accounting Solutions was founded in January 2000. Its goal and reason for being is to provide A - Z accounting and business admin support to small businesses and entrepreneurs in such a way that it takes the schlep and fear out of the task and brings understanding and value. More and more, people are starting their own businesses as an alternative to finding employment in the corporate world. Mostly, these are people of great skill in their chosen fields, but painfully lacking in the skills associated with making a business work. Luceda Accounting Solutions endeavours to fill this gap, providing the entrepreneur with peace of mind and the space to concentrate on what they do best.

Luceda Accounting Solutions focuses primarily on the bookkeeping, accounting, tax and admin elements of running a small business, converting paper and numbers into useful information that the entrepreneur can use to grow and develop their passion into a profitable business. We provide support and guidance in developing time-saving systems, in the planning process, and in budgeting for better control.

Over close to a decade has given us experience in many industries and across a broad range of different types of businesses. We have worked with all kinds of people and personalities.

SARAH ROSSOUW

Sarah’s passion is to help other small business owners feel the thrill that comes with owning a dynamic and growing small business.

“I realise I have learnt a huge amount over the last 9 years of owning my own business and helping other’s make the most of theirs. I want to share that with people who want to grow and thrive in a South Africa that is filled with potential and opportunity.”

Her life in the commercial world started in 1992, working for a SME in the medical industry. Here she learnt at the coal face of accounting, contributing to the day to day running of the business on all fronts. From there, having her own business seemed the logical step. She is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is registered with SARS as a Tax Practitioner. Her interests include the outdoors, reading, computers and the internet and she is an active Toastmaster.

SINDISA CIMA

Sindisa has learned a lot since he started at Luceda Accounting Solutions a year ago. His day to day duties are bookkeeping on Pastel, providing accurate and meaningful monthly management accounts, submitting SARS VAT and PAYE returns via E Filing and admin duties. His aspiration is to help clients understand their accounts.

“Meeting Sarah was a blessing. I am currently a trainee accountant and I really feel fortunate to be doing my training with her.”

Sindisa developed a passion for Accounting in High School 8 years ago. He matriculated from Maitland High School where he was elected a Deputy Headboy by fellow schoolmates. In Matric he received the Top Student award in Mathematics, Accounting and Business Economics. >From there, he went to Cape Peninsula University where he obtained his National Diploma in Financial Information Systems. He is currently in a process of studying further hoping to enhance his knowledge in subjects like Taxation, Commercial law and Project management. He is interested in sports, music, reading and just spending time with family and friends.
